TEAMS

TUNZA has a variety of sporting activities. At the heart of the program is field hockey which by design was the founder’s sport of passion. The other active program is boxing. It targets boys in drug prone neighborhood and slums as a way of getting them off the street. The third sport on the pipeline is Lacrosse – a sport which is not currently played in Kenya but will very much supplement Field hockey. In fact, our pitches are more conducive to Lacrosse than hockey.
