			Your responsibilities will include;
- Work with Tunza Sports ‘Media and Communications’ Team
 - Coordinate and direct the visioning, planning, and execution of a successful event
 - Maintain and ensure effective scheduling and work plans
 - Develop detailed program timelines such thing as sponsorship, production time, participant/speaker notice, event agenda, and event location
 - Develop and maintain resources requirements and cost estimates and projections
 - Coordinate venue selection, negotiations, food & beverage selections
 - Organize event programming, including the work of committees
 - Organize asset logistics and travel schedules in coordination with events
 - Develop sponsorship/advertising/funding opportunities and solicit sponsors/advertisers
 - Ensure event sponsorship obligations are fulfilled
 - Identify potential event risks and design strategies to mitigate or avoid them
 - Assign duties and responsibilities and coordinate the work of staff
 - Assist with the on-site execution of experiential events
 - Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures of local authority are observed
 - Follow all the organization safety guidelines/procedures and ethics requirements
 - Maintain successful events and promotions, financial goals, community impact, and public awareness
 - Bring new and fresh concepts forward that align with the mission of the Academy
 - Recruit and maintain a strong working relationship with volunteers and vendors
 - Develop production of all event and promotion materials for each event
 - Positively interact with the general public to establish good brand relationships
 - Organize and provide engaging activities for spectators and customers
 - Work closely with support services, sales, and event venue staff
 - Interact with guests and maintain a professional appearance
 - Report all customer feedback to Management
 - Provide support for other team members as needed
 - Monitor program activities and assists participants as needed
 - Assist in maintaining Tunza Sports contact databases for both volunteers and event/promotion participants
 - Ensure post event communications/thank you to event sponsors, partners, and participants
 - Create recaps of programs, to develop on improvements for future work
 
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or Public Relations
 - Certified Special Events professional certification a huge plus
 - Three (3) years’ experience in event planning, scheduling, and management.
 - Proven organizational skills required
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills
 - Skill in negotiation with venues and vendors
 - Superb organizational, self-management, and problem-solving skills
 - Commitment to responsive, honest feedback and coaching for professional growth
 - Excellent planning, and implementation and time management skills
 - High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
 - Strong interpersonal skills
 - Demonstrated knowledge of planning, production and management of large, small, high profile, and less-formal events
 - Ability to to analyze, evaluate, and negotiate details reflective of a successful event
 - Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations
 - Ability to sustain communication with diverse groups, anticipate problems, reconcile conflicts while maintaining integrity
 - Ability to analyze problems, evaluate alternatives and recommend effective solutions
 - Ability to process information in a logical manner and to assess validity
 - Proficiency in standard office computer programs and MS Office Suite
 - Demonstrated ability to be creative, energetic; proactive
 - Demonstrated ability to be collaborative, and approachable with a strong work ethic
 - Assist Coaches in creating content to promote event day information for social media
