Donations/Funding Facilitator

Your responsibilities will include;
- Work with Tunza Sports Internal Management Team
- Identify other Non-Profit/NGO in line with Tunza causes
- Keep abreast with Ministry of Sports budget for youth development
- Network closes with Association of Sports Academies
- Inform relevant organizations about Tunza’s mission objectives
- Present feasibility study outcomes to the board
- Assist in writing proposals for funding to be submitted to relevant government and private entities
- Develop and foster relationships with the Community Based Organizations
- Act as a positive representation of the academy to Youth Development Programs
- Acts as a liaison between other community resources and the academy.
- Represent Tunza at NGO youth and girl-child conferences to enhance collaboration
- Attend United Nations open meetings/conferences on Women Empowerment, Youth Development, Sports Development and Girl-child related programs
- Oversee ordering of all requirements and materials for home visits.
- Assist in development of community project briefs
- Act as internal liaison between Tunza and local donors
- Network with companies producing feminine products and request for donation or negotiate for reduced prizes
- Identify NGO’s that distribute feminine products and request for Tunza to be considered
- Prepare and submit informative material to civil society
- Provide data and reports to the Board
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Public Administration /Public Relations /Communications/Business
- 4+ years of experience in related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytically and statistically proficient to analyze data and create necessary reports
- Experience in sales or marketing that involved heavy volume of interaction
- Prior experience in the development and delivery of information in person, electronically and via the phone
- Proficient in MS suites especially PowerPoint presentations
- Strong Organizational and Interpersonal skills
- Experience with MS Office suite preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Creative thinker with a history of applying innovation in programming
- Ability to build community relationships
- Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Degree in Community Service a plus
