Your responsibilities will include;
- Work with Tunza ‘Coaching Development’ Team
- Main role is to develop coaches
- Introduce coaching concepts to youth aspiring Tunza coaches
- Create a Tunza Coaching Development Model
- Ensure all participants understand and comply with ethics of coaching
- Teach and test knowledge of game formations.
- Identity youth with strong character and unquestionable integrity
- Schedule and organize shadow sessions during hockey practice
- Educate the coach in all phases of the sport including rules and regulations
- Strong commitment to support and promote Tunza values
- Asses coaches in executing practice and training plan
Requirements
- A College Degree
- Coaching certificate
- 10+ years of coaching experience
- Know the rules and regulations of hockey
- Well-honed leadership qualities.
- Ability to support and motivate others
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct classroom and field lessons
- Must have excellent Organizational, Management and Teamwork Skills
- Demonstrate the ability to build a culture of respect, discipline, and ethical standards
- Must have a willingness and desire to work with young inexperienced people
