Your responsibilities will include;
- Work with Tunza ‘Coaching Development’ Team
- Introduce Lacrosse to our athletes
- Train assistant coaches under Tunza Coach Development Model
- Facilitate and develop team strategies
- Support athlete’s development
- Schedule and organize practice sessions
- Coach athletes in all phases of the sport including rules and regulations
- Strong commitment to support and promote Tunza values
- Executing practice and training plan
- Monitor and Support student-athlete success, academically and athletically
- Develop Community service and fundraising plan
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Requirements
- College Diploma or Degree
- Coaching Certification a plus
- Know the rules and regulations of Lacrosse
- Experience in developing sports training programs
- Well-honed leadership qualities
- Good verbal communication skills
- Prior lacrosse competitive experience
- Must have excellent Leadership Skills, Management and Teamwork Skills
- Demonstrate the ability to build a culture of respect, discipline, and ethical standards
- Willingness and desire to work with people of diverse and unfamiliar culture
